Compensation:

$20.74 per hour plus tips.

Work Schedule:

Thursday – Sunday, 3 PM – 11 PM.

Benefits:

Eligible for accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine, and company 401k plan (subject to eligibility and terms). Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.

Summary The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, and assisting guests with luggage during arrival and departure.

Essential Functions

Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor. Use guest last names during interactions.

Estimated time: 25%

Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location. Practice proper phone etiquette. Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks.

Estimated time: 10%

Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed. Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.

Estimated time: 20%

Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries. Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area. Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested. Shuttles guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location.

Estimated time: 10%

Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival. Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys. Consistently complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt for all vehicles. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Required Licensure:

Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work (or within commuting distance).

Work Experience:

One month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge:

Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Skills:

Read and write standard English.

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Write simple correspondence.

Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees.

Perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and handle American currency.

Understand 24‑hour and military time systems.

Understand rates applicable to time passed.

Operate a manual transmission (highly desirable).

Perform parallel parking.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work is frequently performed outdoors for the entire shift. Employees may be exposed to extreme heat, cold, and weather conditions. Physical requirements include regular talking or hearing, sitting or standing for extended periods, and occasional lifting up to 100 lb. Jobs may require walking, running, climbing stairs, and handling objects.

Travel Travel up to 5% may be required.
