Soils Special Inspector (ICC)

Hirani Engineering is seeking an experienced Soils Special Inspector to support upcoming field inspections in New Jersey. This position is a full-time project assignment (minimum six months) and requires an inspector who is currently credentialed and can be onboarded within an accelerated timeframe.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform soils special inspections in accordance with applicable codes, project specifications, and approved inspection procedures

Maintain accurate, defensible field documentation (daily reports, observations, nonconformance documentation as applicable)

Coordinate in real time with project management and site supervision to support schedule, access, and inspection readiness

Communicate field conditions, findings, and required corrective actions professionally and promptly

Adhere to safety requirements and Hirani quality standards at all times
