Base pay range Griechenland $38.83/hr - $54.41/hr

Position Standards

Associates degree required.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Healthcare preferred.

Administration or equivalent with 5 years of combined experience in supervision and operations management or the equivalent required.

ठेव experience in Continuous Process Improvement and Project Management is essential.

Demonstrated leadership and change management experience.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects desired.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills desired.

Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of software products such as Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc. required.

Healthcare industry or medical device manufacturing experience preferred.

Working knowledge of PC based statistical analysis software preferred.

CSR experience required.

CSR פּ Manager Certification preferred.

Functional Responsibility Position Objective The Manager of Sterile Processing is responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department and all facets of sterile instrument processing and associated functions in an efficient manner while remaining compliant with manufacturer recommendations, professional standards, internal policies/standards greetings, and applicable regulatory requirements. Work focuses strongly on identifying and ensuring patient satisfaction through timely and effective infection control processes, sterility assurance, and product availability, while keeping risk for infection to a minimum by monitoring all phases of reprocessing devices and reusable equipment.

Performance Expectation

Act in a manner to promote optimal service management.

Communicates effectively with internal and external customers with respect for differences in cultures, values, beliefs, and ages, utilizing interpreters when needed.

Oversees daily operation, scheduling, and performance of all CSR staff to meet departmental needs and communicates policies and procedures to assigned personnel.

Participates in the development of supply, processing and distribution goals and objectives, recommending new programs or procedures that effect improvements in services, and maintaining current knowledge of العمل and accreditation requirements.

Audits compliance with decontamination, cleaning, sterilizing, and related practices of instrumentation and patient care equipment as required.

Ensures the department is in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Serves on assigned hospital committees and ensures compliance with committee standards and applicable laws.

Interprets departmental goals, objectives, and policies to personnel and initiates and develops policies, systems, and procedures, implementing them as authorized and ensuring compliance.

Interviews, selects, and provides for orientation, training, and scheduling of assigned personnel, develops work performance standards, evaluates performance, and recommends appropriate personnel actions such as promotion, transfer, pay increase, or termination.

Responsible for efficient and effective utilization of assigned space and layout and cleanliness of workstations and storage areas, and developing best work methods to provide for safe work conditions.

InvestigatesΣε complaints regarding SPD or services rendered, resolves complaints, or recommends resolution to the Director of Perioperative Services.

Provides for timely service and repair of all movable patient care equipment and SPD equipment, including sterilizers, decontamination and cart washers. bruger\ li>Maintains current knowledge of developments through journals, workshops, seminars, participation in association activitiesऔ and current regulatory requirements. Performs related technical, administrative, and supervisory duties as required.

Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets, preparing monthly budget variance reports for the Director, examining budgeted versus actual expenditures.

Develops and maintains productive working relationships internally and externally by building teams and relationships through mentoring and modeling uplifting communication; coaching colleagues on cultural diversity and addressing workplace horizontal violence and impairment; demonstrating accountability to self and others for safe work hours, time management, and healthy lifestyles.

In conjunction with the Purchasing Department, develops and monitors all Surgical Central Processing equipment buying/renting issues.

Independently runs the department on off‑shifts and weekends or in the absence of the director.

Ensures all clinical personnel have breaks consistent with labor laws.

Shows adaptability and alertness, demonstrates good judgment, coordinates activities applications có learned principles, and follows directions.

Cooperative with co‑workers; mental stamina to withstand stress; performs other duties as assigned.
