Case Mix Group Coordinator PRN Days at Tenet Healthcare
The Case Mix Group Coordinator is responsible for completing each Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) form completely, accurately, and timely.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and input appropriate information for the IRF-PAI Review each IRF-PAI for accuracy Coordinate with various hospital-series departments to ensure timely submission of the document Ensure final forms are available to HIM and the final codes are provided to the billing office in a timely manner Document medical necessity audits and analyze accuracy of functional measure scoring Train new rehab hires on the process of capturing functional measures Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred:
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing for nursing school graduates. Required Experience:
1 year inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience, including progressively more responsible clinical and/or quality assurance/utilization review experience. Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care. Required Licensure:
Current licensure based on education and as required by state to practice profession. EEO Statement
