Position: (USA) Prepared Food Lead – Walmart
Location: 4418 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27407-2600, United States of America
Base Pay Range $23.00/hr - $31.00/hr
Position Summary As a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates who create and serve meals to our members, providing them more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Prepared Foods and Café and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations.
Responsibilities
Be a Team Leader: supervise all prepared food departments (e.g., café, rotisserie, and prepared foods), facilitate rotations, manage member needs, and contribute to overall club success.
Be an Expert:fees skilled in floor and backroom operations, ensuring quality, inventory, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance.
Collaborate: work with associates and third parties to ensure resources, training, and knowledge sharing.
Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to plan sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
Be an Owner: drive business results, maintain a safe work area, manage staffing levels, audits, and compliance, and produce merchandise per layout plan.
Be a Talent Ambassador: teach and train the team, identify training needs, provide development opportunities, support career growth, and source new talent.
Conduct with Integrity: promote corporate policies, ethics, and open-door policy, correct compliance issues, and model Walmart values.
Respect the יודע: embraceuba differences, build trusting relationships, communicate with impact, andije motivate influence.
Serve Customers & Members: deliver results, balance short and long-term priorities, and put the customer first.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Completion of all required training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising a nilo team.
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
