Position Summary As a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates who create and serve meals to our members—giving them more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in prepared foods and café operations and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

Responsibilities

Be a Team Leader

– Supervise the team within all prepared food departments, facilitate rotations, manage member needs, communicate goals, execute company programs, and advocate for members, associates, and the company.

Be an Expert

– Maintain in‑depth knowledge of floor and backroom operations, ensure the prepared foods area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance.

Be a Techie

– Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, product quality, and new tools adoption.

Be an Owner

– Drive business results, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, cleanliness, safety, staffing, audit, compliance, and merchandise presentation; engage with other departments and third‑party partners to ensure continuity.

Be a Talent Ambassador

– Teach and train the team, identify training needs, develop necessary skills, encourage career growth, source new talent internally and externally, and promote a culture of belonging.

Promote and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, addressing issues through the Open Door Policy and ethical action plans.

Serve our customers and members by delivering results with the customer first mindset and making decisions based on reliable information.

Strive for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, and driving continuous improvements using new technologies and skills.

Minimum Qualifications

6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising a team.

Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

Compensation & Location Base Pay Range:

$23.00/hr – $31.00/hr
