Early Head Start Teachers
Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) seeks full-time, full-year Early Head Start Teachers in our Danbury Early Learning Programs.

About the Role Infant / Toddler Early Head Start Teachers Zveng
are responsible for planning and implementing activities to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of infants and toddlers (ages 6 weeks–3 yrs).
Essential Job Responsibilities
Weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 infants (2–20 months old) or 8 toddlers (18–36 months old).
Support students along side a co‑teacher.
Receive support from a classroom aid and a Family Advocate.
Receive curriculum quir and coaching from education coaches.
Access program support through a team of service area specialists in early childhood education, social services, behavioral health, disabilities, and health.
Document observations in Teaching Strategies Gold with Creative Curriculum.
Qualitatively enhance language development of infants and toddlers through the use of LENA (Language ENvironment Analysis) technology.
Communicate child routines with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging.

Requirements
CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education
(Required)
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Psychology-cal (Preferred)
Must be vaccinated against Covid-19, or be willing to get vaccinated prior to start (Required)
Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged.
Experience
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
