Required Skills & Experience
Senior-level experience in DevOps / CI/CD engineering within a large enterprise environment. Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Harness experience strongly preferred). Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift in production environments. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, including:
Ansible Terraform Python
Experience working with GitHub and modern branching and release strategies. Hands‑on experience supporting workloads in GCP and Azure. Strong system design skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security. Ability to work onsite in Uptown Charlotte (hybrid). What You Will Be Doing
Lead the refactoring and modernization of Enterprise Deployment Pipeline (EPL) build‑packs, migrating from uDeploy to EPLX and Harness. Design, implement, and support scalable CI/CD pipelines supporting GCP, Azure, and OpenShift container platforms. Partner with application and platform teams to ensure a smooth, low‑friction transition for pipeline tenants. Expand the use of APIs and Orchestra IDP to automate manual processes that require elevated privileges, enabling safe execution via targeted APIs. Reduce operational toil and improve developer velocity by enabling automation that allows applications to move at the speed of the business. Design and implement secure, repeatable, and observable deployment patterns across environments. Provide technical leadership and best‑practice guidance around DevOps, CI/CD, and pipeline design. Troubleshoot and resolve complex pipeline, deployment, and infrastructure issues in a multi‑cloud environment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience migrating or modernizing enterprise deployment platforms. Familiarity with internal developer platforms (IDPs) and API‑driven automation models. Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, and application teams.
