Position Summary:
Kenny Law Group, LLC located in Northern Baltimore County is seeking a motivated Law Clerk or First-Year Associate to join our growing real estate and litigation practice. This position offers hands‑on courtroom exposure, client interaction, and substantive legal work. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and eager to develop litigation and negotiation skills.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Litigation & Court Work
Attend court hearings and motions hearings
Draft pleadings, motions, and responses
Track court dockets and manage deadlines
File pleadings electronically and in person
Assist with trial preparation
Client & Case Management
Communicate with clients
Negotiate settlements
Draft settlement agreements
Maintain komende case files
Real Estate & Foreclosure Practice
Draft foreclosure complaints
Review title abstracts
Prepare bankruptcy and Orphans’ Court filings
Coordinate service of process
Administrative & Financial Tasks
Track case expenses
Request checks for filing fees
Prepare dismissal filings
Close files upon resolution
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) ubicada o current 2L/3L law student
Maryland bar admission preferred or intent to sit for the bar
Strong legal writing and research skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required
Willingness to travel locally for court appearances and filings
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
