Seeking an experienced
Sheet Metal Mechanic
to perform structural modifications on special mission aircraft. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in aircraft structural repair and modification, with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing aircraft structural modifications, repairs, and enhancements on platforms in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal components to support mission-critical upgrades, including ISR and CASEVAC/MEDEVAC configurations.
Drilling, countersinking, riveting, and assembling structural components with precision to meet tight tolerances.
Removing and replacing aircraft structural panels, components, and subassemblies as part of modification projects.
Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including avionics and systems integration specialists, to ensure seamless modifications.
Conducting quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with FAA and company standards.
Documenting completed tasks and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are used safely and maintained in optimal condition.
