Wind Technician – On Site (Baird, TX)
A local Wind Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring the wind farm in Baird, TX produces reliable power. Duties include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as climbing towers for inspections. The technician also maintains records, follows safety protocols, and assists with other tasks as needed.

Drive Quality in each turbine: Perform high‑quality maintenance, support cleanliness and operation improvements.
Drive continuous process improvements: Provide suggestions and ideas to leadership for positive change.
Reduce cost impacts: Perform high‑quality maintenance to improve turbine efficiency.
What You Bring
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, maintained throughout employment with periodic DMV checks.
Minimum two years of wind experience with a High School Diploma or GED required; three or more years with an Associate’s or trade‑school degree/certification Reglored.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to climb to heights up to 250 feet or greater and work in confined spaces.Weight restriction of 265 pounds or less as required by safety regulations.
Must pass a physical administered by a medical practitioner.
Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. No employer‑sponsored work authorization is required now or in the eis future.
About The Team The team is a small group of close technicians, many of whom have been at site since the beginning of the contract. Technicians work with supporting individuals such as the Short‑Term Operations planner and the Technical Project Specialist.
