Position Summary
The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role that serves customers while performing basic vehicle services. The SST works closely with the store manager, supports store operations, and provides the foundation for future advancement within Firestone Complete Auto Care.
Responsibilities
Customer service, sales, and resolution of customer issues – 75%.
Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations,ocia, and fluid checks – 25%.
Support store operations including opening/closing, inventory, and displays as needed.
Assist or act as Manager‑On‑Duty when circumstances require, to support career development.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid automobile driver's license.
Customer‑service orientation and a career‑growth mindset.
Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
Ability to learn and operate store systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Some college or non‑traditional education, training program completion, certification, or similar evidence of a growth mindset.
Prior consumer retail sales experience.
Previous automotive experience is a plus.
Prior management or supervisory experience is a plus.
