We are seeking a dedicated Sales and Service Technician (SST) to join our team at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO). This hybrid role blends customer service, sales, and entry-level vehicle services to help customers and support our store operations.

Position Summary The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role intended as a pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. You will serve customers by assessing needs, recommending products and services, performing basic vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires flexibility between front‑office customer service and back‑shop vehicle tasks.
Pay Range $13.95 - $20.88 per hour
Responsibilities
Provide customer service, sales, and issue resolution (75%).
Perform basic vehicle service tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks (25%).
Assist with store operations such as opening/closing, inventory, and display setups as needed.
Growth and Career Development
Potential to assist the manager or act as Manager‑On‑Duty under certain circumstances.
Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front‑office and back‑shop tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid automobile driver's license.
Customer‑service mindset and willingness to learn.
Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
Ability to learn and operate store systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Two‑year degree or non‑traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other evidence of a growth mindset.
Previous consumer retail sales experience.
Previous automotive experience is a plus.
Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus.
