for a full-time, school-based opportunity with school districts near the
Vincent, CA
area. This position is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented nurse who is passionate about supporting medically fragile students and contributing to a safe, structured school environment.
This is a
full-time school-year backfill position
with consistent hours and strong district support.

Full-Time / Full School Basement Hours:
Approximately
28.75 hours per week Setting:
Onsite, school-based Pay Rate:

Based on performance and district need
Caseload Overview The LPN will primarily support a student with
diabetes-related medical needs , providing daily health monitoring and nursing care within the school setting. This role requires a strong balance of clinical skill, documentation accuracy, and student-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor blood glucose levels and respond appropriately to readings
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician and district protocols
Provide daily health support to a diabetic student within the school environment
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and supervising medical personnel
Support student safety, wellness, and participation in the school day
Follow all district, state,isent health regulations
Assist with general health needs as assigned by the school nurse or administration
Requirements
Active California LPN License
required
Previous school-based nursing experience preferred
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with educational teams
Must meet all district and state background and onboarding requirements
