Senior Compliance Analyst (Medical Loss Ratio) Remote – eligible for remote work in accordance with SSM policies. Must reside in Missouri (MO), Illinois (IL), Oklahoma (OK), or Wisconsin (WI).

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift.

Job Summary: Performs monthly quality audits as assigned. Provides objective and supportive feedback to department managers and staff responsible for each] functional area to ensure errors are addressed and processes improved.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct routine monthly audits within assigned department functions to ensure information in key systems is accurate and that policies and procedures are being followed.

Prepare reports on monthly audit performance for review by department and company leadership.

Provide constructive, fair feedback to managers and staff on the various department teams; assist in designing improvement plans and educate staff to instill a culture of continuous improvement across the department.

Ensure that errors discovered during audits are communicated and corrected in a timely manner.

Facilitate collaborative work sessions to discuss quality issues, projects, and programs.

Assist with data analysis and report creation to support the entire Revenue Cycle.

Perform barrier and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and best practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Three years of relevant experience (auditing, quality assurance, or related field).

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0–25 lbs.

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/hand movements.

Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more); ability to identify and distinguish colors.

Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication; ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping.

Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25–50 lbs.

Rare climbing.
