Job Summary The Project Manager, Healthcare, will serve as the primary liaison for assigned project(s), overseeing either a single large project or multiple smaller projects. This role is responsible for the successful execution of all project phases, including team leadership, budget management, quality control, scheduling, and jobsite safety. The Project Manager will maintain strong working relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring that project goals align with company standards and expectations. Daily responsibilities support and reflect the company’s vision, mission, and core values. Job duties may evolve as the organization continues to grow and develop.

Responsibilities

Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.

Build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.

Responsible for contractual documents – contracts/schedules/pay applications.

Coordinate project team.

Look ahead and foresee potential issues.

Guide the timely approval of submittals and assist the management team in identifying long lead items.

Manage the close‑out process and ensure completion in a timely and organized manner.

Timely manage owner and subcontractor change orders.

Attend project meetings, monitor accuracy of meeting minutes, and ensure issues are addressed on time.

Write subcontracts on time.

Support the effectiveness of the project staff and superintendent by facilitating continuous coordination.

Monitor and maintain the construction schedule and take corrective action as required.

Oversee quality control program implementation and adherence to the Quality Control Program.

Coordinate the warranty effort and manage project warranty/post‑occupancy issues.

Timely manage the approval of subcontractor and vendor invoices and manage Certified Payroll if required.

Manage the ODP and LEED programs, if applicable.

Assist senior managers in the administration and delivery of pre‑construction services.

Timely submit applications for payments to owners and monitor pay processes.

Write Owner contract on time.

Manage the permitting process and maintain all required insurance and bonds.

Understand and utilize the Company Policy and Procedures Manual and Best Practices Guidelines, including Mastery Forms Library.

Participate in ongoing training efforts.

Ensure workplace safety. Report issues to the project team immediately.

Perform other functions as requested.

Ensure client needs are exceeded throughout the course of delivery.

Minimum Requirements

Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or a related field from an accredited university.

3 years as a construction manager or in a similar position in construction project management.

Experience with healthcare commercial construction with AHCA.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Able to manage a team of employees and multiple projects.

Experience in compiling and following strict budgets.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Accurate and precise attention to detail.

Goal‑oriented and organized leadership.

Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.

In‑depth understanding of the construction industry.

Self‑motivated and self‑directed.

Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and experience with project management software preferred.
