- Community Arts Program Coordinator## Community Arts Program CoordinatorOld Forge, New YorkThe Community Arts Program Coordinator is 40 hours per week, including some weekends and nights depending on course schedule.**Summary of Responsibilities*** Develop and implement art-making classes, lectures, demonstrations and workshops engaging community members and visitors of all ages.* Workshop Operations & Implementation* Track program revenue and expenses* Responsible for a program budget* Draft instructor contracts* Oversee onsite and virtual workshops* Provide support and guidance to instructors as needed* Track and report on participation and feedback for all Community Arts programs.* Manage summer Community Arts intern* Oversee the safety and maintenance of the workshop* Ensure that materials and supplies for Community Arts programs are ordered**Marketing and Outreach*** With the assistance of our marketing department, utilize social media to promote programming.* Work with marketing staff to design and create in-house print materials, including postcards, catalogs, posters, calendars, etc.**Experience*** Innovative, enthusiastic, highly motivated and organized individual is ideal* Classroom or workshop management experience a plus* Teaching experience helpful* Excellent organization and communication skills* are critical to the success in this position* Familiarity with the MSOffice suite of programs is expected**Status*** Full Time* $40-$45k a year, commensurate with qualifications and experience* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Retirement plan with employer match* Generous PTO and paid holidays* Opportunities for professional development* A collaborative, inclusive workplace culture**About View**Located in Old Forge, NY, View is a LEED certified, multidisciplinary arts center that presents rotating exhibitions in all media in three large galleries; offers performances, lectures, and concerts in a 200-seat theatre; a fully equipped pottery studio with 11 wheels and 3 kilns; a light-filled workshop space suitable for a wide range of arts activities; and a fully equipped catering kitchen.
