A real estate company specializing in the development, acquisition, planning, construction, asset management, and disposition of residential and industrial properties located in the Houston area is seeking an Office Manager to join our team. Candidates must have current experience working for a residential real estate company or a construction company. Base pay range: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities Office & Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional work environment.
Manage office vendors, service providers, leases, supplies, and facilities needs.
Develop, implement, and maintain office policies, procedures, and best practices.
Coordinate internal communications and act as a central point of contact for operational matters.
Administrative & Executive Support
Provide administrative support to senior leadership, including scheduling, coordination, and document preparation.
Assist with board, investor, and executive meeting logistics when required.
Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for company and operational documents.
Human Resources & Employee Support
Support HR-related processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and benefits coordination.
Act as a liaison between employees and external HR/payroll providers.
Help foster a positive, organized, and professional workplace culture.
Financial & Reporting Support
Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and coordination with accounting/finance teams.
Monitor office budgets and operational expenses.
Support compliance and documentation needs consistent with a publicly traded company.
Cross-Department Coordination
Work closely with development, construction, asset management, and investment teams to support operational needs.
Ensure consistent administrative processes across departments.
Support special projects and process improvements as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience managing office operations in a real estate or construction environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and senior leaders.
