We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:****Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Responsible for daily review and securing of Specialists referrals via the EPIC Referral Work queues.* Responsible for daily review and monitoring, timely securing of the Diagnostic services referral work queues.* Utilization of Managed Care portals, insurance websites, Availity, Etc. to secure referrals and diagnostic service authorizations.* Accurately enters patient demographics information and insurance data in the computer as documented.* Ensures that authorizations are obtained prior to scheduling procedures/testing.* Attaches referrals and authorizations to visit in Epic* Efficiently schedules appointments, recording them as documented and following practice policy.* Consistently demonstrates a clear understanding of departmental needs and job functions as assigned by department Manager and/or immediate supervisor.* Demonstrates flexibility as well as ability to perform multiple functions within the practice to increase departmental efficiency.* Demonstrates the knowledge necessary to communicate with other offices in an effort to accurately and efficiently schedule testing/procedures.* Notify supervisor of any problems pertaining to processing the patients for upcoming testing/procedures.* All other tasks as assigned.## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification
