Performs routine cleaning and servicing duties under the supervision of Housekeeping Supervisors and the Executive Housekeeper. Duties include servicing guest rooms and baths, engaging in pleasant interactions with guests, and providing assistance with any issues they may encounter. Key Job Functions
Respond to all guest requests appropriately and greet guests warmly with a smile, calling them by name whenever possible. Service an assigned number of guest rooms. Keep the supply cart and work areas neat and organized at all times. Check all equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order. Remove room service tables, trays, and garbage from guest rooms. Strip beds using proper techniques and change bed linens daily. Remove soiled towels and replace them as needed. Place soiled linens and towels in the linen chute. Clean shower walls, tub, sink vanity (all items on counter), toilet, and floor daily. Spot‑clean walls, window glass, sill, doors, and baseboards. Dust and clean all furniture daily, including chairs, lamps, desk, tables, and TV. Replace stationery items and in‑room amenities as needed. Replace used drinking glassware with sanitized glasses. Replace terry cloth and robes as needed. Clean refrigerator, ice bucket, coffee maker, telephones, clock/CD/radio, and TV remote. Clean all mirrors and picture frames in the room daily. Ensure all light bulbs are working; replace as needed and/or call for assistance. Hand in any lost and found items to a supervisor or the housekeeping office. Recycle at soupe opportunities (newspapers, glass bottles, etc.). Perform any special duties assigned by management. Greet guests meeting the 10/5 standard. Enter guest rooms following appropriate security standards. Have knowledge of the overall hotel facility and various services. Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests Be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of guests, recognizing individual guests, and anticipating their unique needs to exceed expectations. Consistently deliver our GUEST model: Greet or welcome everyone warmly with a smile. Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name. Establish / anticipate needs. Solve and own all requests / complaints. Thank everyone.
