Junior Varsity Girls Head Basketball Coach This is a part‑time hybrid role for a Junior Varsity Girls Head Basketball Coach at Ogden International High School. The position is based in Chicago, IL, with some remote work allowed for administrative responsibilities. The coach will oversee practices, develop game strategies, mentor pārœ student‑athletes on sportsmanship and skills, and manage logistics such as scheduling, team communication, and equipment. The role also includes fostering a supportive and encouraging team environment while adhering to school policies and athletic regulations.

Qualifications

Experience in Basketball Coaching, Coaching, and basketball‑related expertise

Strong communication/recruitment skills and ability to establish positive relationships with student‑athletes

Proficient in planning and conducting training sessions to develop players’ skills and teamwork

Organizational and leadership abilities to manage team operations effectively

A passion for mentoring student‑athletes and promoting their personal and athletic growth

Prior experience coaching youth or high school basketball is preferred

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
