About The Role The University of Canberra is seeking a creative and strategic leader to join our Advancement team as Alumni & Community Engagement Manager, leading a university‑wide approach to alumni and community engagement.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Advancement, this role is responsible for driving a cohesive alumni engagement strategy that strengthens lifelong relationships between UC and its alumni. You will play a pivotal leadership role across the University, working closely with faculties, senior executives and professional teams to coordinate, elevate and embed alumni engagement across the University.
Key Responsibilities
Focus on reconnecting with alumni, increasing engagement metrics, and creating meaningful opportunities for alumni to contribute to and participate in UC initiatives.
Leverage a range of communication channels, including digital platforms, social media, and print publications, to promote alumni programs and achievements.
Lead and steer engagement with the College of Adjuncts, working closely with stakeholders to actively involve adjuncts in University activities.
Build and manage one‑on‑one relationships with key alumni to foster collaboration and maintain strong connections.
About You You are a creative, confident and collaborative team leader with demonstrated experience across alumni engagement, marketing, communicationsDown or community engagement.
