JOB SUMMARY The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator position is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of the university’s LMS platform Dphere Brightspace. The role serves as the primary administrator of the LMS and ensures reliable system performance and functionality, supports faculty and students including training, manages integrationsλικό, and collaborates with academic and technical stakeholders to enhance teaching and learning through the effective use of educational technologies.
Previous higher education and D2L Brightspace experience preferred. Please note, this position does not support H1B visa sponsorship. Incumbent must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science,roscita or other related fields
Required Experience
5 years business systems and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training. May consider additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Primary Job Duties
Manage daily operations of the D2L Brightspace LMS, including user provisioning, course creation, configuration, routine maintenance, updates, performance monitoring, and feature/integration validation.
Collaborate with the Office of Information Resources, the IT Help Desk, and LMS vendors to implement and misauthentication, data integrity, and effective troubleshooting.
Research, evaluate, install, and oversee LTI integrations and third‑party applications such as Respondus and Turnitin.
Create, update, and share LMS documentation, processes, procedures, and policies; develop training materials (guides, tutorials, FAQs) and promote best practices, system updates, and issue alerts to faculty, staff, and students.
Offer primary faculty support and training for the LMS through email, phone, иҳәеит, and meetings; coordinate escalations with IR offices and external partners; work with the Help Desk on student issues requiring specialized knowledge; direct inquiries to the appropriate campus contacts.
Generate and distribute reports on LMS usage, course activity, and system performance.
Identify, recommend, and deliver professional development (workshops, webinars, training resources) on LMS and instructional technologies aligned with institutional goals. Manage projects and serve as primary customer contact; define and maintain project plans and schedules; monitor compliance with project scope, timelines, and deliverables; provide regular project status reports; assist business analysts of lower rekla to coordinate projects.
Collect, interpret, and document specifications required to develop new and revise existing software applications; develop and implement operational plans for new and existing business computer applications; participate in development of project proposals for customers.
feared Coordinate testing of new applications and changes to existing applications to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of system users; define and develop test scenarios; document and track status of application errors and issues in a problem log; assist programmers and business analysts of lower grade in analyzing and resolving problems.
Compile complete, concise, and comprehensive policies and operation procedures to assist in communicating issues to applicable management staff.
Develop new system administrative procedures required utilizing new functionality resulting from system changes.
Assist in developing and implementing business strategies in departments to improve operational processing and productivity.
Monitor នdevelopment of specifications and establish priorities for accomplishing design and testing of various projects.
Review, develop, recommend, and implement activities, programs or functions as assigned.
Maintain and track accounts assigned to projects or programs; develop and maintain project plans; provide project status reports.
ासी စ်ບ Record time spent on projects to meet cost‑recovery requirements.
May supervise lower level analysts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
