Job Description The Loan Review function is a hybrid of an internal auditor combined with a credit underwriter and collection & recovery officer. The core task is to re‑underwrite booked leases/loans across DLL’s global portfolio, regardless of size, complexity or country origin, to ensure quality and sound underwriting. You will also perform continuous monitoring across DLL’s global portfolio.

Day to Day

Acquiring an advanced level of understanding DLL’s various credit, credit related and litigation & recovery policies and procedures to assess underwriting quality and determine loan quality classifications (LQC/CRC).

Re‑underwriting what a credit underwriter or recovery specialist has created (credit application and loan strategy report, including loan quality rating and risk rating).

Perform continuous monitoring activities and provide a summary/results of those activities.

Ensure that reviews are performed in accordance with each year’s approved plan.

Advise credit and risk management regarding weaknesses and areas for improvement to continue strengthening DLL’s credit culture.

Present findings and recommendations to Credit and Recovery stakeholders.

Develop relationships with management and other key stakeholders.

Essentials

Minimum of three years commercial credit underwriting experience.

Ability to provide feedback to fellow teammates and stakeholders. How we communicate the message is equally as important as the information presented.

Work independently.

Executing repetitive activities with varying degrees of complexity with accuracy and consistency.

Providing an opinion on work reviewed using your expert judgment given the framework of DLL’s credit and collection policies and procedures.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Effective writing skills, since the output of our work is reviewed by Executive Management.

Desired Primary Work Location Wayne, PA / Duluth, GA / Des Moines, IA / Burlington, ON

Applicable Pay Range $83,889.60 - $125,834.40 (CAD) – Canada only.

$86,650.40 - $129,975.60 (USD) – US only.

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various applicable state/local pay transparency laws and regulations legislation. For roles spanning multiple countries, salary ranges are based on local market salary benchmarks and will vary by country. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the US and/or Canada only. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work‑related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
