Packer/Inspector - NIGHT SHIFT Amcor is seeking a Packer/Inspector to work the Night Shift. This role involves removing finished product from machines, inspecting products to ensure quality specifications have been met, and maintaining all packaging requirements according to production work orders.

Read work orders for product specifications and any special instructions concerning packaging, special skids, cartons, cradles, banding requirements, and samples.

Inspect products for customer requirements and any defects.

Assist in start‑up and change‑over of machinery or orders.

Perform all required quality checks on all orders on a regular basis.

Adhere to all packaging requirements per Production Work Order.

Enter production in JDE and print all necessary paperwork, including closing out the last skid of the order.

Complete at least one Work Place Observation per month.

Place customer labels on cartons or gaylords in a straight and neat manner, adhering to identification sheets, tally sheets, barcodes as requested by the customer.

Follow AIB Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) per written procedures and practices.

Ensure proper housekeeping and safety by maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Maintain paperwork in order and not inter‑mixed with orders that are completed or about to run.

Know how to read and use a tape measure and weigh scale.

Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Have manual dexterity.

Work effectively in a fast däl-paced environment.
