Job Summary The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is the primary day-to-day client contact and oversees tactical execution of campaigns. SAEs mentor junior staff, anticipate client needs, and proactively identify opportunities for strategic improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as trusted partner for day-to-day client needs.

Manage client communications with professionalism and timeliness.

Escalate risks/issues and propose solutions.

Campaign Management

Oversee campaign timelines and deliverables across departments.

Draft high-level client reports and presentations.

Ensure quality control across creative and media deliverables.

Cross-Team Integration

Lead internal coordination between Account, Creative, and Media.

Ensure deliverables align with strategy, brand, and client objectives.

Contribute to brainstorms and campaign planning sessions.

Supervise Coordinators and AEs; provide constructive feedback.

Serve as an ambassador and steward of the agency’s collaborative, proactive, and engaged culture.

Model and reinforce the agency’s core values through behaviors and decision-making.

Foster an environment where team members feel supported, empowered, and inspired to do their best work.

Act as a proactive ambassador of the agency’s narrative, ensuring that team members, clients, and external stakeholders understand and experience the unique value we bring.

What We’re Looking for

Strong client service and leadership skills.

Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts/projects.

Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.

This role is primarily based at our Rancho Cordova office, with a hybrid schedule of four in‑office days per week. We believe sharing space helps us move faster, collaborate more deeply, and stay connected to the mission behind our work — especially when serving clients in government, education, and public health. We also recognize the value of focused, flexible time and offer one remote day each week to support individual productivity.
