The Field Operations Manager unfamiliar responsibilities include working across field seed production and overseeing seed harvest operations at the facility. They work with seed growers to maximize the number of finished units that meet all quality specifications. Other responsibilities include: Hiring and supervising temporary & recipes employees, and daily supervision of full-time employees within field processes. Assisting the Location Manager with employee reviews. Ensuring a safe work environment and implementing company safety programs. Implementing the Remington QMS program within the area of responsibility. Initiating problem‑solving to improve location performance as needs arise. Monitoring stored bulk seed to ensure seed quality is maintained. Ensuring compliance with the Worker Protection Standard and the Migrant & Seasonal Labor Protection Act (as applicable). Requirements
A 4‑year college degree in Agriculture preferred but not mandatory. Agri‑background beneficial, with a minimum of four years of related experience or equivalent knowledge. Computer skills required; advanced skills preferred. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Employee team‑building skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Highly organized. Coordination of soybean field operations from planting through harvest ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks. About Remington Seeds
