DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
Coach employees to work together and create a game plan. Motivate through continuous evaluation and review.
Set clear and measurable objectives for the entire team.
Adjust staffing levels to ensure the store and customers’ needs are met.
Direct staff in the performance of their store‑related positions. Develop, evaluate, and motivate staff.
Operations
Maximize operational efficiencies.
Recognize slow‑moving assets and initiate an action plan to increase activity.
Implement SBR policy and procedures.
Responsible for safety audits, safety training, and compliance with State and Federal OSHA and DOT regulations.
Apply basic knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and internal combustion systems (preventative maintenance).
Manage human resource administration (payroll, scheduling, paperwork, etc.).
Business Acumen
Create an annual budget and forecast using the company template.
Use performance reports to set financial goals, develop strategies, and determine influences on financial aspects.
Understand competitor business models and assist in building strategic plans.
Engage in business decision making at every level.
Sales and Customer Service
Cultivate strategic customer relationships and ensure that the customer perspective drives all value‑added activity.
Explain billing procedures to customers and build trust.
Help customers determine their rental needs by applying product knowledge.
Analyze store flow and update procedures to increase productivity and customer service levels.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 years in the rental equipment or construction industries.
1 year of Operations Management or related/retail management experience.
Excellent supervisory skills.
Excellent knowledge of construction equipment.
Effective communication skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, internet/intranet, and Wynne system.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. This description is not a complete listing; reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range:
$70,776.00 – $97,317.00
