Posting Summary The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is recruiting a full‑time Emergency Radiologist. Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology, Abdominal/Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, or demonstrated experience in Emergency Radiology is required. Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and be eligible for or hold ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology. J‑1 Waiver sponsorship is available. The position is at Assistant Professor level or higher; new graduates are encouraged. The candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across all major divisions at University Hospital, a tertiary care medical center that is a designated stroke center, liver transplant center, and Level 1 trauma center. The role also involves educating residents and contributing to faculty development and well‑being initiatives.
Responsibilities Provide patient care for all major divisions of contemporary imaging at University Hospital, including emergency, abdominal, and neuroradiology services. Lead educational activities for residents, participate in faculty development, and maintain high standards of clinical excellence and personal growth.
Qualifications • Fellowship trained in Emergency Radiology, Abdominal/Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, or demonstrated experience in Emergency Radiology • M.D. or D.O. degree • Eligible for or holder of ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology • Assistant Professor level or higher (new graduates encouraged)
