We are searching for a Florida licensed medical technologist generalist to supervise laboratory operations, covering Hematology and Chemistry benches, with required Blood Bank experience. This position demands flexibility for weekend shifts. Responsibilities
Cover Hematology and Chemistry benches. Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures in all areas of Clinical Laboratory: chemistry, hematology, serology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood banking, and microbiology. Maintain daily quality control charts and preventive maintenance records. Assist in orientation of new employees. Provide patient care for patients of all ages. Perform phlebotomy as required. Cross‑train to other job descriptions and float to other departments as deemed necessary by the Laboratory Manager. Operate under direct supervision of the Lab Section Supervisor/Lab Manager and accountable to the Director of Laboratory Services. Qualifications
Registered Medical Technologist, ASCP, AMT, or NCA. Flint license of AF. AHCA Medical Technologist license. Blood Bank experience. Florida licensed medical technologist generalist. Experience covering Hematology and Chemistry benches and blood banking. Contact
