General Description of the Position The Business Development Representative proactively generates referrals and increased admissions across all levels of care offered by Tatum Psychology Employment Group, including outpatient, inpatient, and specialty programs. The BDR will establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, referral sources, and other stakeholders. This role conducts targeted outreach and educational initiatives to raise awareness about the services TPEG provides. The BDR is expected to consistently meet or exceed established outreach goals and census targets by identifying new referral opportunities, maintaining a regular presence within the community, and presenting the value and effectiveness of TPEG care programs through coordinating and attending networking events, delivering presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth admissions process and optimal patient placement.
Essential Functions Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm and weekends as needed.
Census Targeting
Develop and maintain relationships with local referral sources through calls, emails, meetings, and networking events.
Educate potential clients and partners on services and processes to manage expectations accurately.
Create and deliver presentations to promote services to community partners and referral networks.
Identify, pursue, and follow up on new referral opportunities to support census growth.
Schedule and conduct meetings with referral sources, including healthcare providers, and business leaders.
Utilize CRM systems for account management, lead tracking, and timely reporting.
Represent the company at community and sponsored events to build TPEG brand awareness and trust.
Foster long‑term partnerships to drive repeat referrals and increase revenue.
Interpersonal Communication
Motivate team performance and build lasting, trust-based relationships.
Collaborate with clinicians and program leads to refine outreach and engagement.
Make timely, ethical decisions aligned with TPEG strategy.
Conduct purposeful networking with professionals and community organizations.
Administrative and Operational
Maintain accurate records, manage outreach materials, and ensure timely CRM updates (EOD, each Friday).
Communicate consistently and professionally with clients, leadership, and partners.
Track referral and admissions date to inform strategy and improve processes.
Strategic
Research market and industry trends to provide future strategy, planning, action, and execution for TPEG growth.
Identify services that would appeal to the community and potential new clients.
Provide consistent feedback on client engagement and action planning for follow‑up.
Additional Functions
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Follows and supports TPEG policies and procedures.
Works collaboratively and cooperatively with internal and external partners.
Represents TPEG, Inc., by embodying the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Travels occasionally during the workday and on occasional overnight stay. (Compensationiança for_tid miles, food and lodging provided.)
Maintains regular attendance at work and company activities and demonstrates punctuality regarding deadlines.
Displays creativity and vision in recommending new tactics and strategies.
Expands and updates job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional learning.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma, or GED
Related Experience: One to three (1‑3) years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or community outreach.
Other Experience / Skills Required:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends, for events and outreach интерв.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field
Proficient in English Language
