Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology
We are excited to announce a locum opportunity for a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician in Pontiac, MI. This vibrant community offers a supportive outpatient clinic environment, featuring a well-equipped facility with an infusion center and a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Join our practice as we work together to provide exceptional outpatient care to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide outpatient clinic coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Manage an average of outpatient clinic patients per day.
- Participate in clinic call and support patient care as needed.
- Engage in tumor board discussions to collaborate on patient treatment plans.
- Work alongside a team that includes Oncology RNs, Medical Assistants, a Social Worker, a Dietitian, and a Nurse Navigator.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology. REQUIRED
- Current BLS/ACLS certification. REQUIRED
- Active Michigan medical license. REQUIRED
- Local candidates preferred; no flight reimbursement.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
- Copy of the NPDB self-query required at presentation (must be pulled within 30 days). REQUIRED
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification.
- Valid and active Michigan medical license.
