- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,050 $8,350
- Call: 1:4 rotation (includes weekend coverage)
- Unit Details: 30-bed adult unit (split between 2 psychiatrists, approx. 15 patients per provider)
- EMR: EPIC
- Security: 24/7 security guards; all staff attend codes
- Assignment Duration: 13-week contract, with potential to extend
- Board Certified Psychiatrist (ABPN)
- Active New York State medical license
- ACLS certification
- Clean background for expedited credentialing
- Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the same month of submission)
- Full-time availability
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for adult inpatients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Participate in 1:4 call rotation, including weekend crisis unit coverage
- Ensure patient safety and participate in hospital codes as needed
- Document all patient care in EPIC EMR system
- Foster a positive, secure, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
