We are seeking a LocumsMammography Radiology Physician to provide coverage at a well-establishedhospital and outpatient imaging practice in Springfield, Massachusetts. This isa daytime-only opportunity with no weekends and no call, offering an excellentwork-life balance while working alongside an experienced and supportiveradiology team.
Compensation:
$400 Per Hour
Practice Setting: Hospital-based and outpatient imaging locations Established radiology group Team size: 8 radiologists (6 total after February) Full complement of experienced support staff Patient population: Adolescent, Child, Adult, and Geriatric
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM No weekends No call
Case Volume:
Average number of cases per day: Variable Annual ER volume: Approximately 120 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities:
Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies Perform and interpret breast ultrasound examinations Collaborate with technologists, referring providers, and clinical staff Provide high-quality, patient-centered breast imaging services
Required Procedures:
Stereotactic breast biopsies Breast ultrasound-guided biopsies Mammography-guided biopsies Breast localization procedures

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred Active Massachusetts medical license ACLS and BLS certifications
