Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 20 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in inpatient acute care and MBSS certification for a critical need assignment in Honolulu. Responsibilities Work in an inpatient acute care setting Part-time schedule totaling 20 hours per week: Monday (7 hours), Tuesday (6 hours), and Friday (7 hours) Day shifts with start time at 8:30 AM and end time at 5:00 PM Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) required Utilizes EPIC electronic medical record system Main responsibilities include assessment and treatment of patients in an inpatient acute care environment Role requires performing and interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies Must comply with internal assignment duration limits, with a maximum of two years on assignment before a mandated 90-day break Position open to both local and travel candidates, with no rate differential COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathology license required if applicable Minimum of 2 years of inpatient acute care experience required MBSS certification required All licenses and certifications must be current at time of consideration; pending items not accepted Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
