Location: Stockton, CA Duration: 13 weeks (13–26 weeks preferred) Shift: Day shift | 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 – 16:30) 36 guaranteed hours per week Occasional weekend coverage may be required Job Responsibilities and Required and Preferred Skills & Requirements: Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy treatment services to patients in a home health setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient functional abilities
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes as required
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient goals
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, activities, and safety techniques
Required Qualifications: Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
Ability to work day shifts and meet guaranteed weekly hours
Willingness to provide care in a home health setting
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care (LTC) and/or long-term acute care (LTAC)
New graduates will be considered
Flexibility with scheduling and potential weekend coverage
