Location: Colchester, VT Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:30, Mon-Fri) Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills: Provide pediatric physical therapy services for children in home and childcare settings.
Serve patients with a wide range of conditions including: ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
Down Syndrome
Developmental delays of unknown etiology
Torticollis and plagiocephaly
Cerebral Palsy (CP)
Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) and subsequent neuro/microcephaly
Hydrocephaly
Orthopedic conditions affecting home mobility, including clubfoot
Prematurity-related conditions
Brachial plexus birth injury
Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional outcomes.
Document patient care in Epic EMR; must have recent Epic experience (within past 24 months).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed.
Travel to patient homes/childcare facilities; reliable personal or rental vehicle required (all-season or snow tires recommended Nov–Apr).
No weekend coverage required.
Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays if they occur during assignment.
Required Experience & Certifications: Licensed Physical Therapist (VT license required; pending licenses considered case by case).
Minimum of 2 years pediatric clinical/specialty experience.
Epic experience within the last 24 months.
Patient Population: Pediatric patients with neurodevelopmental, orthopedic, and congenital conditions. Additional Information: Assignment involves travel to patient homes; public transportation not available.
IVS to offer Monday–Sunday; no block schedules.
Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
All work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be provided.
Facility & Environment: Pediatric rehabilitation team within home and childcare settings.
Distance measured in a straight line, not driving distance.
