Hospitalist Physician

Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist

Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in Maryland
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric and hospitalist care
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in high-volume obstetric units
• Certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Previous locum tenens experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completion of accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Minimum of 2 years OB hospitalist experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work on weekends starting December 31, 2025
• Willingness to travel if necessary, with reimbursements provided
• Valid medical license and certifications up to date
• Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations
