Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology in Texas
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience providing obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle obstetric emergencies confidently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience
• Bilingual skills, especially Spanish
• Familiarity with hospital EMR systems
• Experience managing high-risk obstetric cases

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2+ years of OB hospitalist experience
• Current Texas medical license and up-to-date certifications

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• Weekend shift coverage (Weekends)
• Must hold valid and current certifications, including ACLS and NRP
• Willingness to participate in comprehensive licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements when applicable
• Ability to work a 24-hour shift
