Dates of Coverage: Oct 7, 2024, for 10 months Shifts Per Month: Full Time - 5 days per week. But we can accommodate part time (partial weeks or some weeks on/some weeks off) Clinic 8a-5p Practice Setting: Hospital-based cancer center. Outpatient services. Onsite lab, diagnostics, and pharmacy. Reason for Coverage: New program growth Call Ratio: 1:5 Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric Percentage of Practice: Assume 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology Number of Physicians in Practice: 7 across 2 locations APPs Provide Coverage: 10 Average Number of Outpatient Per Day: 10-15
Average Number of Hospital Patients Per Day: 15 Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Level II Trauma EMR: Epic Procedures Required
Chemotherapy - Intrathecal Chemotherapy - Intracavitary - Intrapleural/Peritoneal FNA/Biopsy Mgmt. of VAD/CV Catheters Administration of Chemotherapy: Physician orders. Nurse Administers
Duties Required
Participation on a Tumor Board Orders Test Orders Images Prescribes
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology - Required
Must be comfortable doing malignant hematology (inpatient) - Required BLS - Required MI License - Highly Required - Not accepting non-licensed candidates IMLC accepted
