About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Media Intelligence and Secondary Research. This senior leadership role is pivotal in the Market Research and Data Analytics practice, with a focus on earned media intelligence and secondary research. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex media analysis programs, translating data into actionable insights, and providing strategic advice to senior clients on various aspects including reputation, competitive positioning, and communications effectiveness. Key responsibilities include serving as a senior client-facing lead, overseeing large-scale research projects, and managing a team of direct reports. The role demands a deep knowledge of media intelligence methodologies, the ability to ensure methodological rigor, and a commitment to staying current on media trends and analytics tools.

Applicants for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in media intelligence, market research, analytics, or communications research, preferably within an agency, consultancy, or media analysis firm. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in leading multi-market client engagements, excellent time management skills, and a strong background in people management. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in earned media measurement and social listening, be adept at translating data into strategic insights, and possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools is essential, and experience in managing vendor partnerships is a plus.
