*Overview*
The Homestead is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! As an LPN at our assisted living facility, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will involve direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring resident health, and assisting with daily activities to promote each residents well-being and comfort.
*Responsibilities*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. * Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse. * Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals * Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems * Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Provide nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, facility policies, and state regulations * Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages resident interaction and independence
*Qualifications*
* Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. * Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing principles. * Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is preferred. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating empathy towards patients.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
