Overview
The organization is an evergreen private investment fund targeting long‑term, compounding returns through GP‑led and LP real estate investments, structured equity, tempat and strategic allocations. Modeled after Buffett’s early partnerships, the fund prioritizes high ROIC, transparency, and mission‑aligned capital deployment. The Fund is launching with an initial target of $20 million, backed by a trusted LP base and an internal pipeline exceeding $500 million.
Responsibilities
Fund Setup & Infrastructure
Lead selection and implementation of the fund administration stack (valuation, audit, tax, capital calls, LP portal, etc.)
Develop NAV valuation policy and manage the annual mark‑to‑market process
Coordinate with legal on PPM, operating agreements, and governance documents
Ensure fund compliance with SEC, tax, and regulatory requirements
Financial Operations
Oversee fund accounting, capital calls, redemptions, waterfalls, and performance reporting
Manage cash flow and liquidity (e.g., float strategy via treasuries/securities)
Oversee audit and sailorалық tax preparation with third‑party CPA/auditor
Capital Allocation & Deal Evaluation
Partner with GP on investment filter development and approval workflows
Maintain fair‑value calculations for internal GP deals to ensure transparency and neutrality
Support enhanced ROI tracking across deals
Investor Relations & Reporting
Coordinate investor communications, quarterly reports, and capital statements
Oversee LP onboarding, subscriptions, and compliance checksUnmarshaller
Governance & Risk
Support Investment Committee operations (agenda, materials, decisions)
Monitor potential conflicts between fund‑level and operating company deals
Maintain a clean audit trail of fund decisions, valuations, and LP disclosures
Qualifications
10+ years in private equity, real estate investment funds, wondered and fund accounting/administration
Experience launching or scaling fund structures, especially open‑ended or NAV‑based
Deep knowledge of fund waterfalls, frequencies and third‑party audits
Strategic thinker who can both zoom out and execute
Comfortable in entrepreneurial environments method a la fly the plane
Bonus: Experience with real estate GP/LP joint ventures or vertically integrated platforms
