Range:
$40 - $70/hour , Pay Frequency: Hourly

THE ROLE As a Robotics Field Technician, you will be responsible for the on-site deployment and maintenance of robotic systems. This role focuses on hardware setup, system calibration, and rapid troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations at customer facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
On-site Deployment:
Handle robot power-up, network configuration, and comprehensive safety checks.
System Calibration:
Perform precise calibration for cameras, robotic arms, and mobile bases.
Task Setup:
Configure and test basic robotic tasks, including pick-and-place operations and navigation.
Rapid Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve mechanical jams, sensor failures, and network/latency issues.
Data Monitoring:
Read and interpret basic logs and dashboards to monitor system health.
SOP Compliance:
Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) without unauthorized system modifications.
REQUIREMENTS
Background:
Experience in automation equipment maintenance, factory maintenance, or as a technician for AGV/AMR systems.
Experience:
Prior work with engineering service companies or system integrators.
Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities in a field environment.
Language Proficiency:
Professional command of English for following technical guidelines and internal communication.
Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Equipment:
Hands-on experience with UR, FANUC, KUKA, ABB, or AMRs (Locus, OTTO, MiR).
Software:
Basic proficiency in Linux operations and experience with ROS or Web UI interfaces.
Mindset:
A project management mindset with a focus on on-site troubleshooting and commissioning.
