We currently have an exciting job opportunity at StGeorges Surgery. You can join our teamin the role of Salaried GP. Thisposition is 6 sessions per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays withon-call cover on a rota system.
We are a forward-looking practice that promotes thedevelopment of ARRS roles and to this end, we currently host a Salaried GP, PhysiciansAssociate, two Clinical Pharmacists, one Pharmacy Technician and a MentalHealth Practitioner.
We value learning and development for the wholepractice, and we timetable several learning events and meetings through theyear. We train people in various stages of their careers, including medicalstudents, foundation year doctors and GP trainees.

We are a long-established, GP training practice ofjust over 10,000 patients that is steadily growing. We are a happy, friendly place with severallong-serving staff members. We have afavourable reputation among the local population and excellent relationshipswith neighbouring practices. We wererated Good by CQC at our last inspection and our QOF achievements are high. Ours is a clinical team of six regular GPs (five ofwhom are partners), one Advanced Nurse Practitioner, two Practice Nurses, oneNurse Associate and one HCA. Theclinicians are well-supported with a full team of administrative and managementstaff. Job responsibilities
a.Thedelivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population b.Theprovision of services commensurate with the GMS contract c.Genericprescribing adhering to local and national guidance d.Effectivemanagement of long-term conditions e.Processingof administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptionrequests and other associated administrative tasks f.Ona rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles g.Maintainaccurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy andguidance h.Workingcollaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload i.Adhereto best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process j.Contributeto the successful implementation of continuous improvement and qualityinitiatives within the practice k.Acceptdelegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF l.Attendand contribute effectively to practice meetings as required m.Contributeeffective to the development and maintenance of the practice including;clinical governance, training, financial management and HR n.Ensurecompliance with the appraisal process o.Prepareand complete the revalidation process p.Committo self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional developmentacross the practice team q.Supportthe training of medical students from all clinical disciplines r.Supportthe partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, makingrecommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure s.Reviewand adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times t.Encouragecollaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a cultureof continuous improvement at all times Person Specification

Qualified GP MRCGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Experience
