Position Memory Care Support Partner (PRN)

Location Columbia, Missouri

Salary Starting range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

About the Site The Westbury located at 550 Stone Valley Pkwy Columbia, Missouri 65203!

Responsibilities

Advocate of Empathy – create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

Patient Observer – discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are; collaborate to create and implement appropriate engagement plans.

Master of the Mise en Scène – set the stage for a successful day: prepare dining rooms for breakfast, set up the library for events, ready residents’ rooms for nighttime routines, and guide through the resident’s experience.

Life Partner – partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.

Document resident care accurately and note changes in condition.

Assist with orientation for team members assigned to memory‑care neighborhoods.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.

Positive, energetic attitude and love for residents.

Computer skills for printing documents and entering information about residents.

Active: the role requires standingBrad-Dad walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.

Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.

Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after-fall assistance.

Criminally cleared.
