Our established, full service dental lab partner/client is looking for an experienced Crown and Bridge Manager for their Chicagoland facility. Our client is a growing, state-of-the-art, laboratory who has continually served the restorative and cosmetic dental needs of thousands of dental professionals nationwide. Our client needs not just an experience department manager, but someone that can monitor quality, output and customer service needs as well.
Job Type: On-Site, Full Time, Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM subject to change with overtime available
Primary Responsibilities:
Individually responsible for continued learning in-depth product knowledge, staying current with laboratory and industry product and technology updates Maintain product quality by enforcing standards; analyzing and resolving quality problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements where necessary Work closely with laboratory leadership to maintain budgets and communicate grievances Communicate job expectations; training and cross-training team members; assist with production if needed due to personnel shortages Handle escalated phone calls and
assist/troubleshoot
technical issues presented by accounts All other duties as assigned
Experience:
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent Required: Minimum 5 years experience in a dental laboratory, specifically working with crowns and bridges Required: Dental production and/or manufacturing experience (knowledge of ditching, waxing, and finishing) Preferred: Experience in management of processes and team members in a dental environment Highly Preferred: CDT Certification Excellent "soft" skills - able to communicate well to employees and customers
