Responsibilities
Perform initial evaluations to assess orthopedic, sports-related, and functional conditions; develop tailored treatment plans aligned with patient and athletic goals.
Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, corrective movement training, and performance-based interventions.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting programming to support safe return to sport or activity.
Collaborate closely with physicians, athletic trainers, sports performance specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and sport-specific injury prevention strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation following clinic and regulatory standards.
Support a collaborative, team-oriented clinical environment.
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
1–2 years of experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
Experience working with athletes, active individuals, or sports performance programs.
Strong understanding of return-to-play progressions and functional testing.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
Ability to lift, bend, squat, reach, and perform physical demonstrations with patients, including athletes.
Comfort working at a computer station for documentation needs.
Ability to provide your own transportation to and from the IRG clinic.
Pay & Benefits
Base Compensation: $80,000–$93,000 annually, depending on experience and certifications.
Enhanced Compensation Program: Earn up to an additional 20% of base salary based on client care.
