Job Description The family seeks a flexible, warm, and experienced Private Chef to serve a dynamic young family of four living in Los Angeles. The position is full‑time, live‑out during a 6‑month contract, with a potential long‑term live‑in role in Jackson, Wyoming once the family relocates.
Planning and preparing breakfast, light lunches, and refined dinners (served at 6 PM) for two adults and two children (ages 5 and 2).
Designing menus that incorporate the family’s preferred cuisines—Asian, Italian, French, Mediterranean, and modern global styles—and meet gluten‑free requirements due to a wheat allergy.
Ensuring all meals are healthy, flavorful, enjoyable for children, and optionally lighter for one adult.
Managing menu planning, sourcing, and stock management independently.
Maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene, organization, and cleanliness.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a private or professional chef in a similar setting.
Expertise in gluten‑free cooking and in preparing meals that satisfy diverse palates.
Strong hygiene habits and the ability to work independently.
Excellent knowledge of ingredients, preparation techniques, and a keen sense of nutrition.
Professional yet personable demeanor; calm focus suitable for a child‑friendly environment.
