Responsibilities
Author Interface Specification Packs: Profile; Connectivity (ports/certs/IPs/VPN; Private Endpoint/PrivateLink, API Management/API Gateway). Data contract (fields/types/samples). Schedule (CA-7 → Control-M mapping; note any Event Grid/EventBridge triggers). Error handling; security flags (PII safe-harbor); test snippet; cutover steps. Write testable functional/non-functional requirements with acceptance criteria; maintain full traceability (requirement → design → test → sign-off). Map IMS/COBOL copybooks relational target (AWS RDS/Aurora/SQL Server or Azure SQL); define reconciliation logic/thresholds. Align business flows technical design, testing, and cutover; lead workshops and secure signatures. Deliverables
Requirements specs, user stories, acceptance criteria. Signed Interface Spec Packs; updated Interface Register. Business process flows; system context diagrams. Test coverage/traceability matrix. MUST-HAVE Requirements (non-negotiable) ≥ 6 years BA/Tech BA on integrated systems. Can read COBOL copybooks/JCL/IMS and work with modern stacks (.NET/REST/SQL) targeting Azure or AWS. Proven interface spec work (data contracts, schedules, error handling, partner windows) with acceptance criteria and traceability. Preferred Qualifications
Public sector child support/HHS; modernization programs. Familiar with Control-M, Azure SQL/AWS RDS, API Management/API Gateway. Tools and Platforms
Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, Visio/Lucid, SQL tools, Postman; basics of Control-M; cloud endpoints on AWS or Azure. Performance Measures
Requirements completeness and defect leakage. On-time delivery of signed specs. Partner/business sign-off cycle time. Submission And Screening
Provide one anonymized Interface Spec Pack authored by the candidate. 30-minute whiteboard: derive a data contract from a copybook + sample payload and define pass/fail acceptance.
